Mid Century Style Enameled Tea Kettles Including Michael Lax for Copco

A pair of enameled metal tea kettles with wooden handles; one is olive colored, the other forest green. The olive green kettle is marked as a model by Michael Lax, who designed its prototype for Copco in the 1960s. It features a teak handle, enameled knob pull, straight spout, and barrel shaped well. It is marked on the underside ‘Copco, Michael Lax Design, Holland.’ The forest green kettle is of nearly identical design, except its knob pull is made of wood, and it is unmarked.
