Corona Special Typewriter

A Corona Special typewriter made by L. C. Smith & Corona Typewriters Inc. The typewriter has all of the keys and features a capitol letter key button. The front of the typewriter is marked with both the name of the model and the company name and the back of the piece is labeled Made in USA. The Smith Premier Typewriter Company, established by Wilbert, Monroe, Lyman, and Hurlburt Smith, was the first company to create a typewriter with both uppercase and lowercase letters.
