Gino Ruggeri Sculpture "Hercules and Diomedes"
Item Details
A resin reproduction sculpture on a marble base by Gino Ruggeri (b. 1957) after an original marble sculpture by Vincenzo de Rossi (1525-1587) commissioned in 1550 titled Hercules and Diomedes. This piece depicts Hercules completion of one of his twelve labors in fighting Diomedes. The name of the artist is present to the base of the sculpture attached to a black and white marble stand. A decal is on the underside stating ‘Sculptor G. Ruggeri, Made in Italy’.
