A stunning Victorian sofa with vibrant citrine crushed velvet upholstery. Sofa features a high seat back with a serpentine shape, high side rails with curved wood at arms, fixed tufted seat cushion, elaborate curtain-like carved detail to arm stiles, carved medallion shape to center of wood top rail of sofa, fixed upholstery at back and sides of arms, and elaborately carved modified bracket feet on casters. Tag at bottom reads that this sofa had been reupholstered in the past by Ray’s Upholstery (probably the 1960’s-1970’s).

Condition

Some wear to fabric and to wood, but still in good condition for age. Hole in upholstery to side. Slight nicks present. Please preview for best sense of piece.
