A limited edition life size bronze sculpture titled Curioso by Nano Lopez (1955- Present). The intricate whimsical piece depicts a colt investigating a mother turtle carrying a baby on her back. With the desire to ‘evoke the magic of seeing the world again for the first time with the eyes of a child’ Nano integrates textures and human made objects into his works to reflect his Colombian roots and ‘the depth and richness he sees in the world around him.’The artists has signed the piece on the horse’s hock and it is numbered 1/24. The piece is bolted to a Rocky Mountain slate base which is included.

Horse and turtle are approximated by a shipping company to weight 450-500 lb. Slate base, which the piece is bolted to, is approximated to be around 200 lbs. (700+ pounds for entire piece with base)
