An original 1869 Albert Fitch Bellows rural watercolor. This watercolor features a man clad in green and tan leading his horses as they drag fallen trees behind them towards a small cottage on the other side of a small stream. Standing upon a wooden bridge is a woman dressed in white and yellow. Signed in the bottom right corner is ’ A F Bellows 1869.’
Condition
- some browning around edge of paper and a spot on the painting ; frame has broken off.
