A limited edition Olivia bronze sculpture by Nano Lopez (1955- Present). The bright intricate sculpture depicts the the giraffe in a state of rest upon the ground, but with her head high in the air as if interested in something she sees. With the desire to ‘evoke the magic of seeing the world again for the first time with the eyes of a child’ Nano integrates textures and human made objects into his works to reflect his Colombian roots and ‘the depth and richness he sees in the world around him.’ The artist has signed the work in the mold on the giraffes neck and it is marked 16/320.
