A collection of Century by Salem plates. There are seven plates in the collection, each featuring differently colored borders surrounding the centers, which are printed with nineteenth-century women wearing the fashions of the day. The rims are decorated with gold lustre accents. Two have dark burgundy borders, one has a blue border, one green, one ivory and one dark pink. Some are marked ‘Century by Salem – 4 made in U.S.A. – 23 Karat Gold’. Some are marked ‘Imperial by Salem China Co.’
