1985 Rockne Knuth Acrylic Painting of Pelican

An original acrylic painting of a pelican by Rockne Knuth (born 1941). This painting is weighted at its center with a realistically rendered pelican resting on a thin branch, which is accented with slightly translucent wisps of green at its ends. The duo-chromatic bird is set against a single tone of light blue. Knuth’s signature is seen at the bottom right-hand corner, with the painting’s date below it ‘1985’. The painting is placed behind a gold tone and brown frame, with an included wire ready for hanging.

- some discoloration and wear on the frame’s backing.
