Collection of Hand Thrown Pottery
Item Details
A collection of ten pieces of hand-thrown ceramic pottery. This collection features four pieces of tableware including two matched textured bowls with uneven rims and terra cotta colored glaze marked ‘P’ to the bottom, as well as two mugs with abstract geometric designs. Also featured are five vases including a tan cylindrical vase with botanical textured motif marked ‘ER’, a rounded cracked-look vase with uneven rims marked ‘P’ to the bottom, a Talavera-style vase with orange and blue geometric design marked ‘Mexico’ to the base, a tan and black gourd vase and a vintage cylindrical vase with flared rim and brown drip glaze marked ‘Ches, Feb 71’ to the bottom. This collection also includes a round grey ceramic lidded jar with brown flecks to the glaze and a twisted handle to the lid and sides.
Condition
- one piece is intentionally cracked on the top for access to the interior.
