A pair of Native American axe heads, different sizes and rock. Both are wonderful examples of the early Americans’ mastery of stonework. By manipulating hard stone, ancient peoples were able to create tools that made the hunting and processing of game quick and efficient so that they could provide food, shelter, and clothing.
