Antique Persian-Inspired Carpet Runner
Item Details
A lovely circa early 20th century hand-knotted Persian-inspired carpet runner, resembling a Mahajarong Sarouk style. It has a stylized floral pattern, with predominant colors being pink, red, and blue, with a repeated pattern of large palmettes and floral sprays. It features running water and leaf and blossoms elements to the border in the deep indigo, reds and ecru tones of the field. It has a wool warp to the ends and is unmarked.
