A Danish Modern Hans Wegner wishbone chair by Carl Hansen & Son. The oak frame features a curved, continuous crest above a Y-shaped splat and a cord seat. It rises on four turned and tapered legs joined by a box stretcher. The underside retains a ‘Danish Furniture Makers Control’ label printed ‘Made in Denmark by / Carl Hansen & Son / Mobelfabrik A/S / Odense / Design: Hans J. Wegner’. The wood is impressed ‘33’.
