Josef Albers "I-S Va 3" Signed Limited Edition Serigraph

A signed limited edition serigraph titled, I-S Va 3 circa 1969, by German-born/American artist and educator, Josef Albers (1888-1976), known best for his abstract paintings mainly featuring monochromatic nested geometric forms. His education from the Bauhaus school is visible through his works. This print depicts several geometric figures layered on top of one another in very opaque shades of teal and brown. This piece is numbered 46 out of an edition of 150 and is pencil signed by the artist in the lower right margin, which could not be determined at the time of cataloging. The print has a single white mat and is housed behind plexiglass in a simple metal frame with a wire for hanging to the verso.
