An original oil painting on canvas titled Barn stables, Cape Cod, Mass. by listed artist Edgar Leslie Bloomster (1895 – 1968). The piece depicts a maritime scene with a large body of water to the left area of the composition, a boat docked at a wooden embankment with capacious barns, a large boat with two men disembarking, while a boat drifts into a body of water and man on board; with border, barns and misty cream tone skies in the background. The painting is signed ‘E. L Bloomster’ to the lower corner. It is presented on canvas. The verso presents graphite inscriptions with artist’s name and location.
