Charley Harper Limited Edition Signed Serigraph "Seeing Red"

A signed limited edition serigraph by well-listed and beloved Cincinnati-based wildlife artist and conservationist, Charley Harper (1922 – 2007), titled Seeing Red, released in 1977. The image depicts an angry cardinal wildly fluttering in front of a glass window, incensed by his own reflection. Print is numbered 1096 in an edition of 2500 and signed in pencil by artist to the lower margin. Presented under black mat, behind glass in a red speckled beveled wood frame with black trim and a wire for hanging. To the verso, the original backing label is attached with additional information about Harper and a quip he wrote about the image.

Condition

- mitered corners of frame are not exactly flush. Light wear to finish of frame.
