A Maddox Colonial Reproductions vintage secretary desk. This piece features a split top with scrolling details flanking a top finial above fluted detail. The bookcase features two glass front cabinet doors adorned by geometric wood panels and open to reveal two shelves. The desk features a locking pull down door that opens to several compartments, and features four wave-front drawers with dovetail construction, bat wing plate loop pulls and bat wing plate keyholes. The piece rests on short cabriole legs terminating in claw-and-ball feet. This piece is able to be separated into two pieces but must be unscrewed to the interior of the bookcase. This item is located in the basement.
