Waterbury Pendulum Wall Clock

Item Details

A Waterbury pendulum wall clock. This eight day clock was manufactured by the Waterbury Clock Company in the U.S.A. and has a spring timing mechanism. The clock case is oak and features decorative support brackets on the bottom with an apron behind and and scrolled acanthus leaves on the bonnet top with a stylized rosette at the center. The door has a wood stretcher at center with a glass panel on top and bottom. The bottom panel has a painted black frame with gold tone trim and is marked regulator across the center in an arch. The top panel has black in the corner spandrels with gold tone trim, both to frame the round clock face. The face has Roman numerals and brass tone trim. A plate at the inside bottom is marked ‘Waterbury Clock Company’ and the key is present. Maintenance and operating instructions are mounted on the back.
