Huston was a renowned artist from Kentucky and passed away in 1982. Nunn was Governor of Kentucky from 1967-1971. This print shows Huston’s skill with the combination of realistic details with dark impressionistic flourishes. The vivid image depicts a brooding storm over the White Hall in Madison Co., KY and captures the verdant greens of a rainy day in rural Kentucky. Signed at bottom right corner by Huston and near the bottom middle by Nunn.
