20th Century Slant-Front Desk with Inlay

Item Details

A 20th century slant-front desk with inlay. The mahogany-finished case is embellished with metal, brass-toned inlay in the form of scrolled, stylized foliates. The desk features a rectangular top with a shaped, three-quarter gallery above a slant lid opening to a desk interior with dividers and pigeonholes. The writing surface extends over two rows of two aligned drawers and one long drawer. The desk rises on four cabriole legs joined by a slightly bowed front skirt.
