Antique Stickley Brothers Desk Chair and Books
Item Details
An antique Stickley Brothers desk chair and two books. The wooden chair is catalogue number 602 1/2; the back of the chair features two reverse-tapered slats with cut-out hearts, the seat is spline-jointed, and the back legs are closely set. The legs are joined by a box stretcher with double stretchers on the long sides. The books included are a reprint of the 1906 Quaint Furniture catalogue (no. 28) by the Stickley Brothers and a 1992 copy of Gustav Stickley, the Craftsman by Mary Ann Smith.
