W. S. George "Derwood" Collection China Set
Item Details
A collection of china dishes from the Derwood collection by W. S. George. This set includes a large oval serving platter, a small oval serving platter, two dinner plates, an oval covered vegetable dish, and four shallow dessert bowls. These pieces are decorated with a central motif depicting a phoenix and flowers in tones of yellow, red, blue, pale pink, beige, and green; their edges are embellished by a pale blue border with white floral decoration, colorful phoenixes, and gilt trim.

- considerable scratches; wear to gilt trim.
