A painting by Chinese master painter Johnny Lung (China, b. 1949). Lung is third generation Master painter, who trained under the renowned Chinese painter Chung-Lin Yu. Lung later immigrated to Pittsburgh Pennsylania and debuted at the Three Rivers Art Festival, as a painting instructor at the Arts and Crafts Center of Pittsburgh. Lung paints in blend of centuries old Chinese painting techniques and his own technique. This beautiful painting on board is amazingly detailed, depicting a landscape scene with a wide variety of birds. It is signed with Asian script and chop mark on the left, and signed and dated November 13, 1977 on the reverse. This art is also presented in a slim profile gold tone metal frame under glass, with soft blue and gray mats.
