A Vietnam War era U.S. military ammunition crate. This heavy wooden crate includes empty 105mm cartridge tubes that once held bullets used in an M68 tank gun. It features rope handles, metal latch in the front and hinges to the back. The side of the ammo box is stamped with the lot number and contents list, ‘2-Cartridge 105MM APDS-T M728 FOR GUN M68’.
