A vintage tin steamboat, produced circa 1950 in Japan. This tin model steamboat is named and marked ‘Great Swanee’ near the paddle wheel, and is painted in purple and peach tones, with illustrations of people inside the windows and archways. The model includes details such as pistons on a crankshaft on the ceiling near the middle, and there are friction wheels underneath for locomotion.

Condition

- missing one smokestack and the rubber belt that gives motion to the pumps, minor nicks and scratches.
