A artist proof bronze sculpture titled An Evening in 1922 by well known listed artist Erte. This sculpture depicts a woman wearing a green toned dress with a chiton style dress over it that flows down to the base, with an ornate belt with a tassel-like embellishment keeps the garment cinched together. Her left hand rests on her hips as her right hand reaches up towards her face and her finger gently touches her lips. She stands on a three-tiered hexagon shaped base which the artist has signed in the mold towards the back. Below the signature an inscription reads ‘© 1988 RKP A/P’ as well as a stamp mark.
