A signed J. Pinal wood sculpture. The human figure carrying sacks is by J. Pinal. Pinal was a Mexican wood carver in the mid-century. His works were displayed at the 1939 San Francisco Worlds fare. Pinal’s wood carvings are highly detailed. Also included is an elephant sculpture. This sculpture is made of a medium toned wood as well. The artist is unknown.
Condition
-there are a few nicks and scratches on the bases.
