A 1796 Spanish Carolus IIII, 8 Reales silver coin. This coin was minted in Mexico City but these Spanish (Hispan) colonial coins were circulated in the many New World colonies of Spain. The coins with Carolus IIII were minted from 1788 – 1808 and have a metal content of 0.896 silver.
