Item Details
A set of retired Austin Sculptures from the Bright Eyes collection by artist Dee Crowley. The durastone and light terracotta sculptures include a boy hugging a dog, a boy riding a rocking horse titled Ride ’Em Cowboy, and a boy resting his chin on his fists looking at a puppy. All have a maker’s mark, date, and artist name stamped to the verso. Dee Crowley, artist and sculptress, was born in Philidelphia and graduated from Duke University with a major in Fine Arts. She strives to translate the simplicity and innocence of childhood, one of her favorite themes in the Bright Eyes collection.
