A modern reproduction of a Victorian era ceramic foot warmer, made in England. It consists of a cylindrical bottle, flattened on one side, with a hole with a cap. This type of item would be filled with hot water and used to keep the user’s feet warm in bed on cold nights. Black text on both sides reads “Attention! Men and Women! Behold! The Entirely New Daring Design – Philpott’s Foot Warmer – Original – Satisfaction Guaranteed!!!”. There is also a maker’s mark: Made in England by Moira Pottery Co.
