Item Details
A Royal Doulton Bayeux Tapestry tea set. Includes a teapot, sugar bowl, and cream pitcher in the Bayeux Tapestry pattern from the Royal Doulton ‘Series Ware’ collection. Each piece features images of the Battle of Hastings as represented in the prolific Bayeux Tapestry. All three pieces are marked ‘Bayeux Tapestry Battle of Hastings’ along the rim and ‘Royal Doulton England’ with makers marks on underside.
Condition
Teapot is in poor condition, spout has broken off teapot and lid is chipped. Sugar bowl is missing lid and handle has repaired. Cream pitcher is in good condition.
