John Ruthven Signed Limited Edition Print "Peregrine Falcon"

An offset lithographic reproduction print after the original watercolor painting by well-listed American wildlife artist and naturalist, John A. Ruthven (Ohio, born 1924), titled Peregrine Falcon. The image depicts a noble peregrine falcon perched on a thick limb of dead wood, gazing outward. Title is printed to lower center and artist signature is printed in plate to the lower right, where artist signature is also hand-signed in pencil. The print is mounted behind sea foam green and textured oatmeal double mat, under glass, in a wood frame with distressed silver and green finish. A hanging wire is attached to the verso.

Condition

- finish of frame is worn along edges and corners, with abrasions throughout.
