An original Ben Black happy and sad clown mixed media art piece. Ben Black (1922-2003) was an American artist known for his pieces featuring clowns. This pencil and watercolor piece features one drawing of a happy clown and one drawing on a sad clown, both embellished with orange watercolor hair. The sad clown is signed and dated in ink by the artist. These pieces are matted in speckled and framed in gold painted wood behind glass. It is wired for hanging.
