Antique Chromolithograph Portrait

Item Details

An antique chromolithograph on paper portrait of a young gypsy woman, circa 1900. The young woman is shown in profile, her long hair flowing over her ornately beaded gown. She is set against a muted forest green background. The print is unsigned. It is mounted to paperboard and presented behind hand-rolled antique glass in a wooden frame with ornate cast embellishments, seamless corners, and black and gold tone finishes. A hanging rope is attached to the verso.

Condition

- light cracking to frame. Light debris between print and glass. Print and glass are coming slightly loose in frame.
