An original oil painting on canvas board titled Spring Greens by listed artist Alice Doughten (1880 – 1969) circa 1949. The piece depicts a reflective body of water located to the lower area of the composition contiguous to a sallow tree positioned to the upper left corner; with street, defoliated trees, houses and blue skies in the background. The painting is sign ‘Alice B. Doughten’ to the lower left corner. It is presented behind glass in a wood frame with an off-white paint finish.There is a descriptive label and inscriptions present to the verso.
