Louis XV Style Marble Top Bombe Chest

A Louis XV style bombe chest with a green marble top and rococo metallic accents including cast metal busts of a young man and a young woman near the top on either side. The chest has a curved shape with rich veneers including burled wood panels; three stacked drawers; applied gold tone trim; asymmetrical keyhole escutcheons; rococo drawer pulls; and bracket feet.

Condition

Good to fair, with a hairline crack in one drawer front, scratches in the finish near the feet, a chip in the veneer at one side, loose trim, and other wear.
