Antique Double Walled Water Pitcher
Item Details
An antique double walled water pitcher used to keep water cool for long periods of time. This vessel was produced by JA S Stimpson from 1854-1900. The handle features a stag ornament and vine and leaf to the front and back with raised leaves on the mouth and handle.
This pitcher was presented as an award to Miss S.A. Keck from St. John’s Mission S.S. in Salisbury, PA founded in 1756 by Rev Solomon Palmer.
Condition
Surface wear and dents due to use and age. Engraved to the front. The base shows some damage.
