A signed, hand embellished mixed media artwork by well-listed artist, Peter Max (German/American, born 1937). This 9/11 art, titled, Liberty and Justice For All is hand embellished in acrylic over a lithograph. It depicts twelve Statue of Liberty facial portraits in multiple, bold colors and a style similar to Andy Warhol. This piece is part of a five-piece remembrance series Max created to benefit the September 11 Twin Towers and Survivors Relief project. The piece is signed in paint to the lower right. It is presented under clear acrylic with black linen mat, painted black and gold wood frame with hanging wire and informational label to the verso.
