A Royal Doulton ‘Henry VIII’ and his wives toby mug collection. The collection includes ‘Catherine of Aragon’ (D.6657), ‘Anne Boleyn’ (D.6650), ‘Jane Seymour’ (6746), ‘Anne of Cleves’ (D.6753), ‘Catherine Parr’ (D.6751), ‘Catherine Howard’ (D.6692), and ‘Henry VIII’ (D.6647). The mugs are hand made and hand decorated and each features symbolism relating to the historical figure they portray. For example, Anne Boleyn’s handle is formed by an ax.
