A Royal Doulton ‘Capt. Ahab’ D.6506 toby jug. The jug features the bust of Captain Ahab, a character in Herman Melville’s Moby Dick. The bust is wearing a cap, and the handle is formed by a whale. The jug was hand-made and hand-decorated. This jug is the larger version of item 16DAL151-008.
