A set of gold rimmed Limoges for Marshall Fields china tableware marked ‘Marshall Field & Co. / Chicago / Limoges France’ or ‘Limoges U.C. France’ and ‘M. F. & Co. Chicago’ to the bases. The dishes are white with gold trim in an art deco pattern. This collection includes ten dinner plates, twelve luncheon plates, thirteen salad plates, two bread and butter plates, ten saucers, and ten finger bowls. One finger bowl bears a slightly different pattern than the others; one plate is by La Seynie Limoges and has a floral pattern on the gold rim.
Condition
- some chips and cracks, especially to rims.
