A original, signed oil on canvas painting by Daniel F. Wentworth (1850 – 1934) titled Autumn Morning. A self-taught artist known for his depiction of landscapes and images of animals, Wentworth depicts a landscape in the middle of autumn filled with trees with with red, yellow and orange leaves surrounded a pond illuminated by the tall yellow and brown grass. Signed to lower left, the piece is presented in a gilt wood frame. Hanging wire, exhibition decal with descriptive information about piece and framer’s decal present to verso.
