An MIT Z-Center power conditioner. The center features a comprehensive power-line treatment system in a single unit to serving as three conditioners in one box. The unit provides power factor correction and filtering for amplifiers and source components as well as ground loop isolated filtered power to sensitive components such as CD and DVD players.The unit features a number of patented features: patented Z-circuitry cleans up and transmits the fundamental power line frequency while absorbing other noise frequencies from the AC power line, MIT’s unique dual transformer “Z” circuitry isolates sensitive analog or digital source components from amplifiers and other noise producing components, the “Z” isolator circuitry also provides additional filtering for purer power delivery to the corrected source component(s), and OVP circuitry provides over voltage protection. The patented technology works both on power line disturbances and radio frequency and audio frequency distortions. The unit includes a total of ten outlets. Serial number 2-8318.
