A signed poster for the 1981 Kentucky Derby Festival. The poster depicts a closeup of the psychedelic, pop-art style Pegasus designed by Max for that year’s racing festivities, with the full image in smaller scale underneath. It features both the in-plate signature as well as a large signature and date added by hand in black ink. The piece is presented in a gold tone metal frame under glass.
