Lionel Barrymore Gold Foil Etchings

Item Details

A collection of four gold foil etchings by actor and artist Lionel Barrymore (1878-1954). The four, Shoreside Farm, Nantucket, Rocky Point, and Quiet Waters depict scenes of boatyards, docks, and open water. Outside of the print block there is a textured gold finished border, upon which the title is printed lower left, and ‘Lionel Barrymore’ is printed lower right. The prints are presented on white mats in glass-fronted gold toned frames. Hanging hardware evident of verso.

Condition

- frames show wear, with worn edges, paint loss, and scratching.

Dimensions

- measurements according to a single frame; all approximately the same size.
