Item Details
A lithographic poster print on paper for Earth Day by Peter Max. On a gradient background of yellow, pink, purple, and blue, the piece depicts an image of the Earth with yellow text reading ‘Happy Earthday April 22, 1970-1990’ underneath. Within thin green borders along the lower third of the work, the print contains five reproductions of original landscape paintings by Max. A white cartouche with Peter Max’s copyright and a mark for the Global Works Foundation is to the lower right. Under acrylic glass, the piece is presented in a simple metal frame with hanging hardware present to the verso.
