An original July, 21 1969 newspaper cover taken from the Manila, Philippines daily newspaper The Daily Mirror the day following the American Apollo 11 mission famously landed on the moon. The newspaper tells of the mission, featuring photographs taken from the moon and portraits of the three astronauts sent on the mission. The newspaper is presented behind glass in a thin wooden frame with glossy black finish and a hanging wire. A handwritten note to Armstrong from a Filipino resident named Luis Loo is included; it is written on letterhead from the Office of the President of the Philippines.
