A framed page of 17th century sheet music. This printed page is attributed to a 1625 antiphonal by Simon Belgrand. It features square musical notation on a four-line staff; the neumes and most of the text are printed in black, while some text and the lines of the staff are red. This page includes two lines beginning with large woodcut print initial letters with intricate illustrations. ‘France c. 1625’ is handwritten in pencil in the lower right corner, though cannot confirm date. This page of sheet music is presented under acrylic in a gold tone wooden picture frame, matted with black fabric. The back of the frame includes a hanging wire and an informational label.
