A lithograph on woven paper attributed to well listed artist Alexander Calder (1898- 1976), circa 1965. The piece depicts geometrical shapes in an harmonic distribution of color and form. The piece is constructed on a black and primary colored palette; includes a solid red circle placed to the lower left corner of the composition over a yellow trapezium, along a red trapezium located to the central left area of the piece; with three grouped circles in different sizes and colors placed over a white trapezium contiguous to vertically aligned circles over a continuous predominant black geometrical shape. The piece is pencil signed ‘Calder’ to the lower right corner and marked ‘AP’ to the lower left corner. It is presented under white mat board in a simple silver tone frame.
