A group of 1930s Madame Alexander composition dolls including five Quints and a toddler doll dressed as Dr. Dafoe along with five wooden doll rockers. Two dolls are dressed in yellow overalls and crocheted booties, two are wearing yellow dresses and bonnets with socks, a Yvonne doll wearing a white dress with her name pin and black shoes and anklets and a toddler doll dressed as Dr. Dafoe wearing linen scrubs,. All the dolls have molded hair, painted features and moveable joints and are marked to their backs Alexander. The clothing is a mix of original and replacement items. Joined by five wooden doll rockers, each bears a Made in Germany stamp to the base.
Condition
-dolls are in fair condition consistent with age and use, dolls exhibit finish loss, cracks and crazing throughout, Yvonne’s dress has staining and one foot is significantly damaged, one doll in overalls has a loose arm, one in overalls has significant finish loss, rockers have scuffs and finish loss and have been been repaired.Clothing is a mix of original and replacement and some dolls are missing pins, socks and/or shoes.
